"I was working with Brenda on a life insurance quote ... we were shopping around to make sure we were making the right decision on something that literally affects life and death. I had gotten my quotes from other places and found they were less then half the amount she was quoting us. I called her today to discuss why the price gap was so huge and further into our conversation she told me that I had to “qualify to make sure I was worth more alive then dead” I dug a little deeper and she compared me to another one of her YOUNG clients that could not qualify.. (she did not know at this time the assets we hold or my income level)...I am 26 years old and I was inquiring to make sure I am protected in the long run and I was really disgusted by her stereotyping me based on age. Little does she know we have the assets to “qualify.” Hopefully this teaches you a lesson in the long term of your 25 years experience to treat every client the same and to learn your competitors after being in the business so long."
